Radiotherapy – radiobiology
Seeking to personalize radiotherapy
This research aims to develop technological or computer tools that make it possible to increase the radiation dose to the tumor as much as possible while sparing more healthy tissue.
A search for balance which is studied through two themes:
1
the development of biological and imaging factors
to predict tumor or individual radiosensitivity and thus develop personalized radiotherapy.
2
modulation of the effects of radiotherapy by physicochemical agents
with, in particular, work on the contribution of nanoparticles. These fine particles, injected into cancer cells, can increase the radiosensitivity of the tumor.
